Description:
Hinge pearl earring with silver fitting; small circular swivel catch at the top with "MAI" stamped on one side, suspending a double leaf bail attached to scalloped edged fitting. Belonged to Mrs. Wynant Van Zandt.

According to a note attached to this earring, it belonged to Mrs. Wynant Van Zandt (1692-1772), and is shown in the Society's portrait of her. She was the daughter of Tobias and Elizabeth (Hegeman) Ten Eyck.
