Description:
Sheet iron reflecting oven (or "tin kitchen" or Dutch oven) with domed top, hinged door with stamped molding, two handles riveted beneath door and two handles riveted above door, and wrought iron spit.

According to tags found with this object, this Dutch oven was used by the donor's great-aunt about 1800-1825 at Stapleton, Staten Island. It was presented to the Society by Dr. Adelaide Mills on May 26, 1932.
