"Criss Cross Spelling Slips" puzzles in a paper covered cardboard box, with cover illustration of two children playing "Criss Cross Spelling Slips"; box cover inscribed, "CRISS CROSS/ SPELLING SLIPS/ SET TWO/ McLOUGHLIN BROTHERS N. Y."; forty-eight strips of cardboard forming six different pictures of animals such as a wolf and a lion, with each letter of a description of the animal printed on each strip; interior of the box cover printed with the vendor's label.
