Description:
Porcelain coffee cup; wide blue enamelled wavy band outer border; blue husk inner border; pseudo arms of New York State opposite handle; figures of liberty and justice flanking a shield with a scrolled border surmounted by an eagle.
Gallery Label:
The cup is from a service with the pseudo arms of the State of New York. It is unusual in having two pairs of initials in gilding, "J.C." and "M.F."
