Description:
Molded pearlware plate with letters of the alphabet around the brim in low relief banded at rim with green stripe; red-brown transfer printed image at center depicts blacksmith working at an anvil and another man pumping bellows while a third sits on a bench in the background; printed image embellished by hand in pink, blue, and yellow overglaze; image encircled by an inscription.
