Description:
Painted chest of dovetail construction with brown sponged background; hinged lid with thumbnail molding and side battens; top painted with two square reserves each with eight-pointed compass-drawn star inside circle; front has three painted arched panels, central one with double arch, painted with yellow and green tulips in handled vases; inscriptions scratched into vases; applied base molding and dovetailed bracket feet.
