Description:
Cast silver caster; baluster-shaped body on an applied, cast, stepped, splayed foot; applied, molded band at the contraflexure; molded band applied around the rim; engraved cartouche surrounded by foliate scrolls with an unidentified crest, three crowns in a vertical row on a blue (horizontal stripes) ground; circular, domed cover with a molded band around the edge and six bands of pierced work around the sides, alternating between a foliate design and circles in an inscribed grid; molded, domed disk surmounted by a cast urn finial applied to the top of the dome; maker's marks stamped on the base.
