Description:
Theodore Roosevelt's 1904 presidential campaign badge; consists of circular plastic pin-back button depicting image of eagle with suspended blue woven silk ribbon bearing inscription printed in gold: "REPUBLICAN/COUNTY/COMMITTEE/ROOSEVELT/AND/FAIRBANKS/HIGGINS/AND BRUCE."
Gallery Label:
Fairbanks was Roosevelt’s Vice Presidential candidate in 1904. Prior to that Fairbanks was a senator from Indiana. In 1904 Frank Wayland Higgins was running under the Republican ticket for Governor and Republican M. Linn Bruce was running for Lieutenant Governor.
