Description:
Cast and wrought Sheffield plate cake basket; deep, rectangular, boat-shaped body with a molded horizontal rim and an applied, cast beaded band along the edge; seated on a concave, ovoid base with a beaded band along the edge; four, hollow cast, ball feet applied to the base; no maker's marks.
