Description:
Struck aluminum medal with obverse showing obelisk emitting rays of light with legend: "CENTENNIAL OF THE BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL/JUNE 17. 1775 JUNE 17. 1876." Reverse with central motif of militry belt with enclosed initials "NG" and legend: "PRO PATRIA ET GLORIA" surrounded by legend in larger letters: "TO COMMEMORATE THE VISIT OF THE TO BOSTON JUNE 17.1875/7TH Regt.Nat.Guard/State of N.Y." Hole punched at center top.
