Description:
Camel-colored leather breeches; 3 button fly covered with flap which buttons over fly at the right and left corners, watch pocket on the right side of the fly beneath waistband, adjustable lacing at center back of waistband, bottom of legs are split and close with 6 plain silver-colored metal buttons, with 2 straps to tie at the bottom.

These breeches were worn by Dr. Samuel Alexander McCorsky, who served as a surgeon for the Pennsylvania Artillery Artificers from 1778-1782. He was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati in Pennsylvania.
