Black wool felt naval brassard, rectangular with oblique corners, yellow felt "SP" at the center, with cotton twill weave fabric tape ties at each side.

This brassard designated a member of the U.S. Navy's Shore Patrol, the Navy's equivalent of the Army's Military Police (MP).
