Description: 
Knotted hairwork bracelet with gold clasp fastener with oculus at the center and fittings for safety chain (missing); a row of spiral design runs the center of the bracelet, flanked by rows of herringbone design; the clasp and fittings are engraved with acanthus leaves, inscription on reverse.

According to a note found with this bracelet, it belonged to Emily N. Turner, sister of Sophie A. Turner of Brooklyn, New York. Sophie was sister in law to John Pintard's granddaughter.
