Description:
This jewelry box is covered in brown paper mottled to resemble burl wood and embossed with grape bunches, leaves and vines. An orange label on the lid reads in black "Ball, Black & Co./ Sign of the Golden Eagle/ Jewelers and Silversmiths/ 247 Broadway,/ opposite City Hall/ New York."
