Light blue cotton women's blouse; double collar; 4 mother of pearl buttons down the front; open sleeves with false cuffs, 1 button at each wrist; yoke across the back at the shoulders, on panel on the back.
Gallery Label:
This blouse is part of a uniform worn by Alice Johnson while she served as a "Spar" with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. A "Spar" was a member of the women's reserve of the U.S. Coast Guard.
