Bronze struck medal with obverse showing three men in a study with their names underneath: "LIVINGSTON/DONGAN/SCHUYLER"; legend: "PETER SCHUYLER RECEIVING THE CHARTER FROM GOVERNOR DONGAN/JULY 22 1686." Reverse shows seal of Albany with scroll beneath, inscribed: "ASSIDUITY"; legend: "IN COMMEMORATION of the TWO HUNDREDTH ANIVERSARY of the CITY of ALBANY N.Y./1886."
