Bronze struck medal with obverse showing clothed bust of Benjamin Harrison facing left with legend within beaded border: "BENJAMIN HARRISON PRESIDENT.U.S.A." Reverse includes two overlapping circles, one with an Indian in front of a teepee and an empty landscape, one depicting a settler and horse in front of buildings. Crossed peace pipe and tomahawk with laurel branches intertwined with inscription "PEACE" above, plow and laurel branches with scroll inscribed "PROGRESS" below.
