Description: 
Leather, iron, brass, and cotton belt; stitched brown leather belt has three exterior pockets with flaps that fasten to brass buttons on front, and two straps at right end that fasten to iron buckles on left.

This belt was found in a box containing military objects used by Emilio Buch, a soldier who served in the 2nd Battalion, Cazadores Voluntarios de Matanzas, as part of Spanish forces during the Cuban insurrection of 1867. This belt was not listed in the accession record for the military material.
