Description:
Circular metal badge topped by eagle and tapered at bottom; "banner" in eagle's mouth inscribed "2ND LIEUTENANT"; border around circle inscribed "HALSTED [sic]/ MANOR HOSE Co." with rosettes at sides; "4" inscribed at bottom center outside circle. Center circle has raised "rope" border surrounding central image of a horn. Vertical pin back.

This badge is probably associated with the Halstead Manor Engine and Hose Co. 4 of Mamaroneck, New York. Incorporated in 1911, the fire station has been responding to fire related emergencies for over 100 years as a part of the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department.
