Description:
White cotton baby's dress with a low round neckline, shot puffed sleeves and a high band waist; pleated bodice and long full ankle length skirt; hem decorated with a zig-zag cotton line with a row of triangles on either side; metal hook and eye closures in the back at the waist.

According to the donor this baby's dress may have belonged to her mother's or her mother's younger sister in Branford, CT, around 1865.
