Daily Classes in Real Time
New-York Historical educators conduct classes in real-time on Zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool that allows students and educators to interact online. Lessons are content-based and inquiry-driven, featuring images and historical documents from our collections. Each grade level session takes place on a particular day of the week and lasts up to an hour. No log-in or membership is required: all you need is internet access with audio accessibility. Remote Teacher Workshops
We're taking our teacher workshops online! Register now for our weekly, one-hour workshop on Zoom designed to help teachers access our digital resources, learn exciting new content, and develop remote lessons for their students. Daily Lesson Plans for Teachers & Parents
Looking for lesson plans for children at home? Teachers and parents receive one lesson plan each day for engaging social studies instruction. Each lesson plan tracks with the NYC Social Studies Scope and Sequence and includes dynamic primary sources, slides, reflection questions, and an extension activity that can be adapted for either remote or at-home instruction.

History Happy Hour: A Weekly Online Gathering for Teachers
Join us every Thursday from 6-7pm EST on Zoom to network with colleagues, share experiences of teaching remotely, hear from a guest scholar, and learn about online resources that will help you plan your next lesson!
